I finished chapter 1 today! I didn't intend for it to end there - to be honest, I didn't have any planned place for it to end at all - it just felt right.

Dear faithful friends,

Guess what? I have had a productive weekend, and Sunday hasn't properly started yet. I've beta-read all my stuff except a file I'm expecting from a new author and a re-read of some things I need to send to Asli for PhoenixSong.

I have a Plan for my homework and it includes the necessary dancing and piano practice.

I have lists of the stuff I need for dance that I've been putting off getting, so I won't be caught unawares.

And, unfortunately, my foot hurts. I cracked it in my private lesson. Poo poo.

I've discovered that praise from Mrs P is the best motivation for my dancing in the world. Because I made her look at me all the way through the lesson.

I think I found me for the duration of that class. And I loved it. Yes, I care that I'm not as good at improvisation as I was. But I know I can be better. And I know I will.

Does anyone know where I can find decent music to dance to? I've been scanning the bbc radios for the past half hour and haven't found anything that will do. Any style except classical.

Rebekah word count has reached 2322. But guess what? I've lost all my notes! Apart from years 1-3, which I typed up for beta darling who's being wonderful and beta'ing even though PS won't accept it, I'm going to have to re-write it all! Luckily I have my first draft of notes - which is nothing but an A5 piece of paper with about 2 lines of tiny writing for each of Rebekah's school years. Still, it's better than nothing.

Now, here's a small thing. I had quite a few reviewers ask me if I was going to carry on with Rebekah. So how am I going to tell them where to find it when I finally do post it on LJ?

Did a little work on what will be my writing LJ. Am quite excited! I've always wanted one...
